AWS competencies demonstrate to customers their cloud partners expertise and how they’re able to match customer needs with cloud best practices.

AWS launched the AWS Competency Program to assist customers in identifying Consulting and Technology APN Partners with in-depth industry experience and expertise to support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions.

Less than 300 AWS partners globally have completed the AWS DevOps Competency, which is one of the more difficult certifications. Achieving this competency indicates that processes have been done by the book for quite some time.
